Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Data-Sharing Model to Secure Borders Using an Artificial-Intelligence-Based Risk Engine and Big-Data ConceptsMohammad S. Al Rousan, Benedetto IntrigilaThe primary aim of this research is to develop a framework for data management and sharing that will enable countries to share complex data about known and unknown high-risk passengers to streamline border-control security processes through the use of big data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). A total of 15 semi-structured interviews were used to gather qualitative data. A thematic … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 2 May 2022 · 6,937 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordBiometric Gait Recognition Based on Machine Learning AlgorithmsMohamed SayedIt is crucial to find methods that analyze large amount of data captured by cameras and/or various sensors installed all around us. Machine learning becomes a prevailing tool in analyzing such data that signifies behavioral characteristics of human beings. Gait as an identifier for use in individual recognition systems has respective and almost certainly unique key features for each person … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 6 Aug 2018 · 8,984 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordQUALITY BASED SPEAKER VERIFICATION SYSTEMS USING FUZZY INFERENCE FUSION SCHEMELydia Abdul Hamid, Dzati Athiar RamliPerformances of single biometric speaker verification systems are outstanding in clean condition but drop significantly in noisy condition. Implementation of multibiometric systems is one of the solutions to this limitation. However, in order to ensure the performances of multibiometric systems are sustained, the optimum weight for the fusion system must be determined correctly according to the quality of current data. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 3 Dec 2013 · 6,898 accessesView PDFCite
