Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordBluetooth Wireless Network Authentication Using Radio Frequency Communication ProtocolGhossoon M. Waleed, M. Faizal, R. B. Ahmad et al.Problem statement: Bluetooth has emerged as very popular ad hoc network standard today. Bluetooth network applications include wireless synchronization, e-mail/internet/intranet access using local personal computer connections, hidden computing through automated applications and networking. Due to this ability, it is not impossible for the network to receive any attack. Approach: In this study, we developed an algorithm to build new software … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2009 · 7,819 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordComparison of Bit Error Rate Performance of Multi Tone Channel Utilising De-OQPSK and De-Off Set 16 QAM with Guard IntervalIbrahim A.Z. QatawnehDigital communications systems use Multi tone Channel (MC) transmission techniques with differentially encoded and differentially coherent demodulation. Today there are two principle MC application, one is for the high speed digital subscriber loop and the other is for the broadcasting of digital audio and video signals. In this study the comparison of multi carriers with OQPSK and Offset 16 QAM … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2005 · 6,847 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEstimated Greenhouse Gases Emissions from Mobile and Stationary Sources in the Limestone and Basalt Rock Mining in ThailandDubsok Atima, Kittipongvises SuthiratMineral processing can become more environmentally sustainable by integrating practices that reduce all environmental impact of mining operations. Along with pollution problems, global climate change is presently one of the most important environment concerns. This research aimed to identify all potential sources and also compare the net emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from the limestone and basalt rock mining operations … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 5 · 26 Oct 2016 · 8,294 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordTRUSTWORTHY ENABLED RELIABLE COMMUNICATION ARCHITECTURE IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSaravanan Dhavamani, Chandarasekaran Ramasamy, M. G. Sharavana KumarAd hoc networks are widely used in military and other scientific area. There are various kind of routing protocols are available to establish the route, with the proper analyzation one can choose the routing protocol to form their own network with respect to number of nodes and security considerations. The mobility of nodes makes the environment infrastructure less. It also … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 12 Feb 2014 · 6,995 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Survey of Intrusion Detection Schemes in Wireless Sensor NetworksMurad A. Rassam, M. A. Maarof, Anazida ZainalWireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are currently used in many application areas including military applications, health related applications, control and tracking applications and environment and habitat monitoring applications. The harsh and unattended deployment of these networks along with their resource restrictions makes their security issue very important. Prevention-based security approaches like cryptography, authentication and key management have been used to protect … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 17 Aug 2012 · 8,733 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Fuzzy Logic Based Power Control for Wideband Code Division Multiple Access Wireless NetworksN. Mohan, T. RavichandranProblem statement: Resource management is one of the most important engineering issues in 3G systems where multiple traffic classes are supported each being characterized by its required Quality of Service (QoS) parameters. Call Admission Control (CAC) is one of the resource management functions, which regulates network access to ensure QoS provisioning. Efficient CAC is necessary for the QoS provisioning in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 4 Aug 2012 · 6,755 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMobile Anonymous Trust Based Routing Using Ant Colony OptimizationR. Kalpana, N. RengarajanProblem statement: Ad hoc networks are susceptible to malicious attacks through denial of services, traffic analysis and spoofing. The security of the ad hoc routing protocol depends upon encryption, authentication, anonymity and trust factors. End-to-end security of data is provided by encryption and authentication, topology information of the nodes can be obtained by studying traffic and routing data. This security … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 30 Jun 2012 · 6,946 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSecurity Challenges in Multicast Communication for Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkS. Gunasekaran, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Multicasting communication network accepted a single message from an application and delivered copies of the message to multiple recipients at different locations. Recently, there has been an explosion of research literature on multicast communication environment. The objective of this study were to contribute the complexity of supporting current multicast applications, (i) the lack of reliable multicast transport mechanisms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 5 · 31 May 2010 · 6,125 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordRemote Personal Tracking System (RPTS)Abdfatah A. Yahya, Mahmoud Z. IskandaraniA novel system for remote tracking of personnel was proposed. The system was based on assuring that the moving tracked code belongs to the actual person assigned such a code by smelling and temperature measuring the person who holds such a device. The system would operate using a specific RF signal and allows for an accurate, economic and secure environment … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2006 · 7,691 accessesView PDFCite
