Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSleeping Cluster based Medium Access Control Layer Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor NetworksT. Nagamalar, T. R. RangaswamyWireless sensor networks play a vital role in remote area applications, where human intervention is not possible. In a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) each and every node is strictly an energy as well as bandwidth constrained one. Problem Statement: In a standard WSN, most of the routing techniques, move data from multiple sources to a single fixed base station. Because … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 16 Jul 2012 · 6,686 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordCan Soy Change Serum Estradiol Concentration in Neonate Ovariectomized Rat?Mahnaz Taherianfard, Mina Tadjali, Mohammad Ebrahim AstanehProblem statement: Phytoestrogens are plant derived compound found in a wide variety of foods, most notably soy. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of soy isoflavones on circulating 17-β estradiol in neonate ovariectomized rat. Approach: Thirty, one day olds rats were used. Blood sample were collected after two months. 17-β estradiol was assayed by radioimmuno assay … …Current Research in Medicine, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 21 Mar 2012 · 7,402 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Novel Routing Protocol with High Energy Performance in Mobile Special NetworksAli Norouzi, B. Berk UstundagProblem statement: Mobile Special Networks do not have a predetermined structure. This type of networks can dynamically reorganize network connection relationships due to change of neighborhoods and the relative positions. Approach: There are many problems in creation of a special network such as routing, wireless media, energy consumption and transportability. Results: Although these networks primarily had been formed for small … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 15 Jan 2011 · 7,304 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAspect Oriented Decision Making Model for Byzantine AgreementS. Murugan, V. RamachandranProblem statement: The main aim of this research study is to develop an enhanced strategy for decision making whether to commit or rollback a request to a Web service in the presence of Byzantine faults using aspects. The proposed study extends the Lamport’s algorithm for Byzantine agreement to have an effective decision while handling the service request. When the service … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 3 · 16 Jan 2012 · 7,034 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSurvival and Changes in Germination Response of Rumex obtusifolius Polygonum longisetum and Oenothera biennis during Burial at Three Soil DepthsShiro TsuyuzakiTo investigate patterns in seed germination and survival at three different soil depths over a long time span, seeds of Rumex obtusifolius, Polygonum longisetum and Oenothera biennis were examined as a function of season (spring, autumn) and soil depth (3, 10, 30 cm). Buried seeds were exhumed after 3 years and subjected to two different temperature treatments. These were gradually … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2006 · 7,194 accessesView PDF Cite
