Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHUNTING PERNICIOUS ATTACKS IN WEB APPLICATIONS WITH XPROBERR. Suguna, T. Kujani, N. Suganya, C. KrishnaveniNowadays internet is loaded with tons of innovative web applications. This instantaneous growth has paved way for a number of security exposures. Cross Site Scripting attacks (XSS), SQL Injection (SQLI) and Malicious File Execution (MFE) are the foremost web related vulnerabilities reported by Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). The attackers take advantage of the vulnerabilities in the code of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 7 · 2 May 2014 · 6,863 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFACE RECOGNITION USING RELATIONSHIP LEARNING BASED SUPER RESOLUTION ALGORITHMSenthilSingh, ManikandanThe face recognition is an application which is for identifying a person from a digital image. The common problem that often occurs while identifying the face from image is due to the low resolution in images especially when it is captured from a long distance. In automated face recognition system, this has always been a challeging problem. To overcome this … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 16 Jan 2014 · 6,974 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTHE EFFECT OF AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION SERVICE ON THE TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY OF TEFF (ERAGROSTISTEF) PRODUCERS IN ETHIOPIAAsres Elias, Makoto Nohmi, Kumi Yasunobu et al.Teff (Eragrostistef) is a major staple food crop in Ethiopia, but smallholder teff production is characterized by persistently low average yield. A major government effort aimed at raising the productivity and competitiveness of smallholder agriculture in Ethiopia involved reforming and implementing agricultural extension service known as Participatory Demonstration and Training Extension System (PADETES). Therefore, this study investigates the effect of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 21 Dec 2013 · 9,529 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS ON INTEGRATING CAMPUS RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM ON CLOUDS FOR ENHANCING SECURITYZainabRasheed Mirza, Muhammad Nawaz BrohiSeveral measures had been taken to ameliorate security technology at campuses using latest technologies available. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in campuses is mainly used for recording attendance which is further extended to activity monitoring and individual security. This research paper proposes a framework of RFID integrated solution for enhanced campus IT security including human, campus IT asset traceability, student’s … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,955 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPower Analysis on Same Filter Different Sources for Selection of Spectral Filters in Optical DemultiplexerMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Hadiguna, Latifah Sarah SupianThe cost effective demultiplexer based on POF is reported in this study. The demultiplexer is fabricated by combining optical splitter with the suitable filter for wavelength selection. Therefore this study we aims to evaluate the effectiveness of selected color filter film for demultiplexer construction where only signals with certain wavelengths are allowed to pass through the demultiplexer while the other … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 18 Jun 2013 · 6,550 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSelection of Spectral Filters for Optical Demultiplexer Via Same Source Different Filters Testing TechniqueMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Hadiguna, Latifah Sarah Supian, Malik SulaimanThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of selected color filter film for demultiplexer construction where only signals with certain wavelengths are allowed to pass through the demultiplexer while the other signal that carrying different wavelengths are absorbed. Characterization testing and analysis is done based on recorded data.
