Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStudy and Realization of the Basic Methods of the Calibration in Stereopsis For Augmented RealityFezani Mustapha, Batouche Chaouki, Benhocine AbdelhamidAugmented reality (RA) is aimed at ameliorating our perception of the real world by addition of elements which are not a priori observable by the human eye. RA is define as a system able of combining real and virtual pictures, in 3D and real-time. The virtual objects must be cast in a consistent manner in real pictures. In practice, objects … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 5 · 31 May 2007 · 6,743 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Use of Neural Networks in Real-time Face DetectionKevin Curran, Xuelong Li, Neil M. CaughleyAs continual research is being conducted in the area of computer vision, one of the most practical applications under vigorous development is in the construction of a robust real-time face detection system. Successfully constructing a real-time face detection system not only implies a system capable of analyzing video streams, but also naturally leads onto the solution to the problems of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 7,017 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOmni-Zernike Algorithm for Template Matching in Catadioptric SystemAnisse Khald, Amina Radgui, Mohammed RzizaImage descriptor have been widely applied in many computer visions and image understanding applications including pattern recognition, robotic, video surveillance, camera calibration and image retrieval, etc. Invariants features are robust when apply several transformations of photometry (illumination, blur, noise, JPEG compression) and transformations of geometry (scaling, rotation, translation and viewpoint change). In this study, we present representation and matching region … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 12 · 30 Dec 2020 · 6,501 accessesView PDF Cite
