Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesError Vector Normalized Adaptive Algorithm Applied to Adaptive Noise Canceller and System IdentificationZayed RamadanProblem statement: This study introduced a variable step-size Least Mean-Square (LMS) algorithm in which the step-size is dependent on the Euclidian vector norm of the system output error. The error vector includes the last L values of the error, where L is a parameter to be chosen properly together with other parameters in the proposed algorithm to achieve a trade-off … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 5 Nov 2010 · 8,208 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesA Three-Microphone Adaptive Noise Canceller for Minimizing Reverberation and Signal DistortionZayed M. RamadanThis paper introduces an adaptive noise canceller (ANC) to improve the system performance in the presence of signal leakage components. The proposed ANC consists of two adaptive filters and three microphones. The first adaptive filter cancels the signal leakage and the second filter cancels the noise. For best results, a least mean squares adaptive algorithm was also introduced and used … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2008 · 7,089 accessesView PDF Cite
