Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSHAPE RETRIEVAL THROUGH MAHALANOBIS DISTANCE WITH SHORTEST AUGMENTING PATH ALGORITHMS. Muruganathan, N. Devarajan, D. Chitra, T. ManigandanShape matching and object recognition plays an vital role in the computer vision. The shape matching is difficult in case of the real world images like mpeg database images since the real world images has the internal and external contours. The Mahalanobis distance based shape context approach is proposed to measure similarity between shapes and exploit it for shape retrieval. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 3 Dec 2013 · 6,856 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesCOMPARISON FOR WIMAX SCHEDULING ALGORITHMS AND PROPOSAL QUALITY OF SERVICE IMPROVEMENT IN WIMAX NETWORKSR. Nandhini, N. DevarajanThe objective of the broadband wireless technologies is to ensure the end to end Quality of Service (QoS) for service classes. Wimax is a revolution in wireless networks which could support real time multimedia services. In order to provide QoS support and efficient usage of system resources an intelligent scheduling algorithm is needed. The design of detailed scheduling algorithm is … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 19 Nov 2013 · 7,394 accessesView PDF Cite

DevarajanWiMAX networks are deployed for commercial use because of its nature high bandwidth. This requirement invokes the application level changes in QoS provisioning techniques. The objective of the broadband wireless technologies is to ensure the end to end Quality of Service (QoS) for the service classes. WiMAX is a revolution in wireless networks, which could support real time multimedia services. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 13 Nov 2013 · 6,976 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSimulation and Implementation of Quasi Resonant DC-DC ConverterP. Parvathy, N. DevarajanProblem statement: A half-bridge LLC resonant converter with a voltage doubler rectifier has a simple structure and its Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) capability is excellent from zero to full load condition. But conduction loss is more due to high circulating energy thus reducing the system efficiency. Moreover a variable frequency control method makes the control circuits more complicated than those using the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 29 Aug 2012 · 7,142 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesIn-Process Vision Inspection Systems for Sorting using Image Processing TechniquesJ. Latha, N. DevarajanProblem statement: Machine vision system is based on digital image processing and is found to be the best sensor detection as its operation is similar to the human eye. The purpose of machine vision is the desire to provide real time machines with visual abilities. Approach: A real time system is developed and is interfaced with the mechanical structure to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 2 Feb 2012 · 7,075 accessesView PDF Cite
