Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesDesign and Development of Broadband Inverted E-shaped Patch Microstrip Array Antenna For 3G Wireless NetworkNorbahiah Misran, Mohammad Tariqul Islam, Ng Kok JiunnMicrostrip patch antenna has been received tremendous attention since the last two decades and now it becomes a major component in the development of Smart Antenna System for Third-Generation Wireless Network proposed by the ITU-R under the banner of IMT-2000. Smart antenna consists of an array of antennas associated with it a base-band hardware and control unit (inclusive of the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2008 · 7,126 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesA 4⨯1 L-probe fed Inverted Hybrid E-H Microstrip Patch Antenna Array for 3G ApplicationMohammad Tariqul Islam, Norbahiah Misran, Ng Kok JiunnThis paper presents a compact and broadband microstrip patch antenna array (BMPAA) with uniform linear array configuration of 4x1 element for 3G applications. The 4⨯1 BMPAA was designed and developed by integrating new patch shape Hybrid E-H shape, L-probe feeding, inverted patch structure with air filled dielectric microstrip patch antenna (MPA) element. The array was constructed using two dielectric layer … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 7,477 accessesView PDF Cite
