Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesEfficient Pose Tracking based on Line Segment MatchingJunqiu Wang, Jingjing Cui, Yanjie Gao et al.Pose tracking is a crucial issue for many applications such as robotic tasks and facility operations. Vision-based approaches with non-contact properties are appropriate choices for these tasks. However, vision-based approaches are not sufficiently robust and fast. In this work, we propose a vision-based pose tracking to deal with these problems. We estimate poses using Lie group and Lie algebra representation … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 1 · 27 Dec 2018 · 7,851 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSparse Representation Tracking with Auxiliary Adaptive Appearance ModelsJunqiu Wang, Chao Yang, Zhichao Gan, Yasushi YagiWe propose an effective tracking algorithm based on sparse representation and auxiliary adaptive appearance modeling. Based on a sparse representation, l1 minimization can follow targets in challenging situations. Unfortunately, tracking approaches based on l1 minimization are likely to be inefficient because they measure using dense coefficient distributions. The number of target candidates can be very large when the state space … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 1 · 14 Jan 2017 · 7,681 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesFragment-based Visual Tracking with Multiple RepresentationsJunqiu Wang, Yasushi YagiWe present a fragment-based tracking algorithm that considers appearance information characterized by a non-parametric distribution and spatial information described by a parametric representation. We segment an input object into several fragments based on the appearance similarity and spatial distribution. Spatial distribution and appearance are important for distinguishing different fragments. We employee such information for separating an object from its background: … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 5 Jan 2016 · 7,894 accessesView PDFCite
