Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesA MOBILE AGENT BASED INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSBinod Kumar Pattanayak, Mamata RathApplications of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) have become extensively popular over the years among the researchers. However, the dynamic nature of MANETs imposes a set of challenges to its efficient implementation in practice. One of such challenges represents intrusion detection and prevention procedures that are intended to provide secured performance of ad hoc applications. In this study, we introduce … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 28 Jan 2014 · 7,271 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSECURITY IN VEHICULAR AD HOC NETWORK BASED ON INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEMOmkar Pattnaik, Binod Kumar PattanayakImplementation of mobile ad hoc networks has eventually captured practically most of the parts of day-to-day life. One variation of such networks represents the Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), widely implemented in order to control day-to-day road traffic. The major concern of VANETs is oriented around providing security to moving vehicles that makes it possible to reduce accidents and traffic … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 27 Dec 2013 · 7,027 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesJavascript Interpreter Using Non Recursive Abstract Syntax Tree Based StackSambit Kumar Patra, Binod Kumar Pattanayak, Bhagabat PuthalIn a Mobile device, apart from the battery and memory, the execution time is the key design constraint for executing the scripts of complex and unstructured JavaScript in the web-browser. Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) is a better option for mobile code as it is compiled only once. Due to very recursive nature of the AST, its traversal is going to … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 27 Apr 2013 · 6,339 accessesView PDF Cite
