Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMasterpiece Optimization Algorithm-Based Priority-Aware Load Balancing Strategy for Cloud Data CentersS Vijaykumar, Shanker ChandreCloud Computing (CC) is one of the widely used technologies due to its advanced features such as pay-per-use, scalability, and flexibility. The primary objective of CC is to allow users to access and purchase cloud services that are on demand through internet-based applications. Efficient load-balancing in the cloud faces challenges of high-dimensional state spaces and scalability with increasing tasks. To … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 30 Jul 2026 · 789 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimized Cloud Load Balancing Using Deep Q-Learning With Inverted S-Shaped Hierarchical Reverse Superb Fairy-Wren OptimizationB. R. Yogeetha, S. P. AnandarajCloud computing offers a scalable and cost-effective platform by providing on-demand access to shared computational resources. However, effective load balancing is essential to maintain optimal performance and maximize resource utilization for ensuring even distribution of network traffic across servers, preventing overload, improving response time and enhancing the system reliability. This manuscript proposes the Deep Q-Network with Inverted S-shaped Hierarchical Reverse … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 4 Jun 2026 · 1,504 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Novel Time-Based Switch Migration Method (TSSM) for Load Balancing in Distributed Software-Defined NetworkingThangaraj E, Dinesh K, Prabhakaran Paulraj et al.Switch migration is predominantly used for workload balancing in distributed Software Defined Network (SDN) controllers. The Time-Sharing Switch Migration (TSSM) technique allowed the switch's responsibility to be divided based on the time duration condition of overload, which resulted in fewer overload events, fewer ping-pong controller issues, and more efficient controllers. However, it has higher controller resource utilization during TSSM working … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 6 Mar 2026 · 1,591 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFedLoBA-1: A Load Balancing Architecture for Mitigating Resource Overloading in Federated Cloud InfrastructuresDamola Gideon Akinola, Emmanuel Adetiba et al.In a subscription-based service such as cloud computing, clients have scheduled access to shared resources such as data, software, storage, and other assets as needed. Despite several benefits, cloud computing still faces significant difficulties. Load balancing, which is the capacity of the cloud infrastructure to equally distribute tasks among the resources in the cloud environment has significant issues. Cloud federation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 23 Jan 2025 · 6,334 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNew About the Balancing of Thermal MotorsNicolae Petrescu, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuThe paper presents a new method of balancing the thermal motors, the method that perfectly fits the engines with modern internal combustion. This new constructive method imposes a new in-line engine design in order to better balance it, thus achieving a static balancing and total dynamics of the new type of internal combustion heat engine. The method can also be … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 22 Jul 2019 · 5,827 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleApplication of Viral System Algorithm in Load Balancing of Cloud EnvironmentDamodar Tiwari, Shailendra Singh, Sanjeev SharmaAs the cloud computing technology is gaining popularity with time, more and more users and applications are shifting towards it. This is why clouds are experiencing high load, which demands for load balancing of user tasks submitted to cloud for execution. This makes load balancing of non-preemptive tasks a key issue in cloud computing. Superior task scheduling leads to balanced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 14 Jul 2018 · 8,411 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleThe Dynamics of the Planar Cinematic Balanced Chain at the Plan Module 3RRelly Victoria Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Antonio Apicella, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuIn some previous papers, the mechatronic module 3R, plan, is a basic module on which the complete, geometric, cinematic, dynamic calculation of the anthropomorphic robots, the most used today's industrial robots, is built. The importance of the study of anthropomorphic robots has also been signaled, being today the most widespread robots worldwide, due to its simple design, construction, implementation, operation … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 22 Jan 2018 · 7,115 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTotal Static Balancing and Kinetostatics of the 3R Base Cinematic ChainRelly Victoria Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Antonio Apicella, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuIt has been presented in other works and studied matrix spatially, or more simply in a plan, but in this case, it is necessary to move from the working plane to the real space, or vice versa, passage that we will present in this study. In the basic plan module already presented in other geometric and cinematic works, we want … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 18 Jan 2018 · 8,768 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleCost Effective Expa-Max-Min Scientific Workflow Allocation and Load Balancing Strategy in Cloud ComputingJames Kok Konjaang, Fahrul Hakim Ayob, Abdullah MuhammedThe rise in demand for cloud resources (network, hardware and software) requires cost effective scientific workflow scheduling algorithm to reduce cost and balance load of all jobs evenly for a better system throughput. Getting multiple scientific workflows scheduled with a reduced makespan and cost in a dynamic cloud computing environment is an attractive research area which needs more attention. Scheduling … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 5 · 13 Jan 2018 · 8,589 accessesView PDFCite
InvestigationOpen accessEvery word in the titleLoad Balancing For Cloud-Based Dynamic Data ProcessingTalal Talib JameelThe Map/Reduce paradigm has dominated cloud computing since its beginnings. However, there are some scenarios in which Map/Reduce is not the best model. Once such situation is a system that collects data dynamically, with intermittent arrival times. In this study, we study a modified form of Map/Reduce that uses a load balancer to distribute work, rather than simply assigning a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 8 · 20 May 2017 · 7,117 accessesView PDFCite
