Abstract
While conventional biomechanical testing techniques are able to determine the mechanical characteristics of muscle tissue, they do not offer precise insight into how muscle metabolism and microstructure change in response to various types of exercise activities over the course of time. Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) analysis of muscle tissue allows researchers to examine how different levels of intensity affect muscle activity during the time period of physical testing. This study involves 120 healthy adults who were grouped into three categories based on their exercise intensity (low, medium, and high), with 40 subjects assigned to each group. The MRI images will be interpreted by two qualified imaging professionals. The MRI imaging results provide detailed evaluations of the muscle activity levels among the different exercise groups. The results show that with various exercise intensities, significant differences exist in the start time of muscle activation of the volunteers' tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius muscle, and rectus femoris (P<0.05). MRI technology provides images with high clarity and good image quality, with 85% meeting the standards of very high and relatively high clarity. This paper uses high-precision data from MRI technology to study the effects of exercise on muscles and their related physiological mechanisms.
